Head of Depositary, Dublin

Purpose of the Role

This is a multi-faceted role covering all operational aspects of Depositary services, alongside responsibility for developing new business opportunities and broadening the existing client base.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the immediate point of contact for all Depositary relationships.Consolidate the existing client base and assume a leading role in developing Depositary activities.Act as the main contact for the Central Bank of Ireland and designated person for the daily governance of the Irish operation.Ensure a first-class Depositary administration service is delivered to clients.Develop, implement and continuously enhance Depositary procedures and checklists to ensure they remain fit for purpose.Manage the ongoing development of Depositary systems, ensuring a consistent approach to service delivery.Assist with new business enquiries, including budget estimates, presentations and supporting materials.Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through industry articles, conferences and panel participation.Escalate issues and risks arising from fund activity to the Board of Directors where appropriate.

Qualifications

Professional qualification preferred (e.g. ACCA, ACA, ICSA or equivalent).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Minimum 10 years' relevant fund administration and Depositary experience.Strong experience across closed-ended structures investing in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital and private debt.Comprehensive understanding and technical knowledge of Depositary services.Strong IT and business development skills.Previous Central Bank approval in a similar role would be advantageous.
