Temporary Chef Opportunity within a Busy Healthcare Environment. Hospital Chef Job for temporary catering positions within healthcare services in Wicklow. This role is ideal for experienced Chefs who enjoy working within structured, fast‑paced kitchens while supporting essential healthcare and patient catering services. You will join a professional catering team responsible for delivering high-quality meals while maintaining strong food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals within a busy healthcare kitchen

Maintain HACCP and food safety standards

Support food preparation and daily catering service

Work closely with catering and kitchen teams

Maintain cleanliness and organisation across kitchen areas

Deliver high standards of food quality and presentation

Requirements

QQI Level 6 Culinary Qualification OR City&Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 Qualifications

Previous Chef experience within healthcare, hospitality or contract catering environments

HACCP and food safety knowledge

Ability to work efficiently within fast‑paced kitchens

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility for temporary rostered shifts

Subject to Garda Vetting where applicable

International Police Clearance where applicable
