About Your New Employer Our client is a well-established and growing contractor specialising in roofing, carpentry, and construction projects across Dublin and surrounding areas. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship on residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects, they are recognised for their commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and maintaining a strong team-focused working environment.

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are now seeking an experienced Joiner / Roofer Carpenter to join their team on a range of busy projects throughout Dublin.

About Your New Job As a Joiner / Roofer Carpenter, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality carpentry and roofing works across a variety of construction projects. This is a hands on role suited to someone with previous roofing, timber frame, or general carpentry experience who is confident working independently and as part of a wider site team in fast paced environments.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Carrying out first and second fix carpentry work to a high standard.

Installing roofing structures, timber frames, fascia, soffits, and roof battens.

Fitting doors, floors, stud walls, skirting, architraves, and general joinery works.

Reading and working from drawings, plans, and site instructions.

Working closely with site managers, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Carrying out measurements and cutting materials accurately.

Ensuring all roofing and carpentry works are completed to specification and within deadlines.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health&safety regulations.

Adhering strictly to all site safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE at all times.

Reporting any site issues, defects, or safety concerns immediately to management.

Assisting with general site duties when required.

What Skills You Need To be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous experience working as a Joiner, Roofer or Carpenter.

A valid Safe Pass (essential).

Manual Handling certification (essential).

CSCS Trades card (essential)

Own tools preferred but not essential.

Strong knowledge of roofing systems, timber structures, and general carpentry practices.

Ability to read technical drawings and follow site specifications.

Strong awareness of health&safety procedures on busy construction sites.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills, reliability, and punctuality.

A strong work ethic and positive attitude towards safety and workmanship.

Full clean driving licence advantageous but not essential.

What's on Offer

Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.

Monday - Friday full time hours. Overtime may be available.
