Building Services Manager, Dublin

Dublin City Centre Lead full Mechanical&Electrical delivery on a flagship high-density residential apartment development with a main contractor.

Role Overview This position sits with a leading Irish main contractor delivering a major multi-block residential development in Dublin City Centre. Due to continued project growth and a strong pipeline of large-scale apartment schemes, they are hiring an experienced M&E Manager to take full responsibility for building services delivery on site.

You’ll be embedded within a high-performing project team and will own M&E coordination, installation oversight, commissioning, and handover across a complex, fast-moving residential build.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and programme-driven delivery

Oversee full services coordination with architectural, structural, and other trades

Chair coordination meetings and drive resolution of technical clashes and site issues

Manage commissioning, testing, validation, and system completion

Review technical submittals, RFIs, and coordinate design inputs with consultants and stakeholders

Ensure full compliance with specifications, drawings, and H&S requirements

Support project completion including O&M manuals, commissioning records, and handover documentation

Identify and resolve on-site coordination issues to protect programme and quality

Key Requirements

Proven experience as an M&E Manager / MEP Coordinator on large-scale construction projects

Strong residential, mixed-use, or commercial project background (apartments essential)

Main contractor site experience is non-negotiable

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems

Proven commissioning, testing, and handover experience

Strong leadership and subcontractor management capability

Ability to drive programme under pressure in a live site environment

Strong problem-solving ability with a hands‑on, delivery‑focused mindset
