HGV Driver - Class 2, Dublin

Job Overview U Value Insulation are now seeking to recruit a full‑time Rigid HGV driver with Moffett experience. Our drivers play an integral part in the day‑to‑day running of our business, ensuring customers receive timely, friendly, and dependable delivery service. The role will be based at our new Dunshaughlin head office, warehouse and co‑operation co. Meath.

Key Responsibilities

Driving our HGV truck on pre‑planned routes.

Ensuring that the vehicle is roadworthy by carrying out appropriate checks on a routine basis.

Ensuring that the vehicle is driven and maintained in an appropriate and courteous manner and in line with legislation, health and safety guidelines and company policy.

Reporting any vehicle defects immediately to line/branch manager.

Ensuring that tachograph and other essential documents are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Building effective working relationships with customers.

Being responsible for ensuring all orders are correctly loaded onto the vehicle in line with health and safety procedures and proper documentation is completed prior to departure so goods can be tracked.

Ensuring delivery notes have correct signatures as per company policy.

Actively safeguarding against theft of company goods or property by being security conscious at all times.

Performing any other duties as may be deemed necessary or required by the company.

Requirements

Hold a valid C2 licence.

Experience with Moffett is an advantage, however training can be provided.

Driver Qualification Card (DQC).

Positive, can‑do attitude.

Willingness to support other members of branch staff with warehouse/yard or any other duties.

Experience of multi‑site deliveries.

Knowledge of our products.
