Pharmacy Technician (Summer Months) - Ongar

Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Ongar team, during the summer months. This is a 40-hour (5-day) fixed term position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 3 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.Benefits

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail. Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner. Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements. Prepare blister packs and process and track claims. Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.Qualifications

Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply. Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage). IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies (an advantage).
