Job Summary This Senior Occupational Therapist position is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. The role will be based at Our Lady of Lourdes of Hospital and works as part of a multi‑disciplinary team in the Occupational Therapy Inpatient Service.

Location Our Lady of Lourdes of Hospital, Louth, Ireland. Health region: HSE Dublin and North East.

Specified Purpose– Whole Time

Responsibilities

Work as part of multi‑disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to patients in the Occupational Therapy Inpatient Service.

Manage a complex inpatient caseload, providing specialised assessment and treatment interventions.

Carry out clinical and educational duties as required.

Maintain high standards of clinical practice through clinical evaluation, audit opportunities and evidence‑based practice.

Contribute to a structured process for supervision of staff‑grade occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and students.

Support the development and temporary placement of staff for future temporary and permanent positions across affiliated hospitals.
