Project Manager / Clinical Operations Contractor We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Clinical Operations Contractor on behalf of our client to support ongoing pharmaceutical and clinical supply chain projects on a short- to medium-term contract basis. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys operating in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities, and working directly with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to deliver practical operational solutions. The successful contractor will work closely with project leads and client stakeholders, supporting the coordination and execution of post-implementation and operational project activities across a portfolio of client programs. This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong organisation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to operate independently and proactively within complex operational environments. Key Responsibilities Support the management and coordination of multiple concurrent pharmaceutical or clinical operations projects. Work alongside Senior Project Managers and client stakeholders to deliver operational and project objectives within agreed timelines. Manage post-implementation operational activities following project handover from implementation teams. Coordinate activities across internal teams, customers, vendors, CMOs, depots, 3PL providers, and other external stakeholders. Track project deliverables, risks, actions, timelines, and dependencies. Assist with resource coordination and project planning activities. Support issue resolution, escalation management, and stakeholder communications. Facilitate customer meetings, workshops, status calls, and project updates. Ensure project documentation, trackers, reports, and dashboards remain accurate and current. Help manage project scope, timelines, priorities, and operational deliverables. Support KPI tracking, reporting, and operational performance monitoring. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies where applicable. Support project close-out activities and lessons learned reviews. Ideal Profile: Previous experience in a Project Management, Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, or Pharmaceutical Operations role. Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical trial, or healthcare-related projects. Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience. Experience managing multiple workstreams or projects simultaneously. Experience coordinating timelines, risks, actions, and deliverables across cross-functional teams. Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with changing priorities. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining highly collaborative. Experience with project tracking tools, reporting, and operational coordination activities. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Consulting, contractor, or agency-based project experience would be advantageous. Ability to travel occasionally within Ireland, Europe, or the United States if project requirements demand. Systems, Technology&Operational Experience: Experience working with ERP systems within pharmaceutical or clinical supply chain environments (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Familiarity with Interactive Response Technology (IRT/RTSM) systems used in clinical trials. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and tracker management. Experience using Smartsheets or similar project and workflow management platforms. Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and reporting tools for dashboarding, analytics, and operational reporting. Exposure to pharmaceutical serialization systems and processes (e.g. TraceLink, DSCSA, EU FMD, serialisation data management, aggregation, etc.). General awareness or practical experience working with AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, or AI Agents within business, operational, reporting, or project management environments would be advantageous. Interest in emerging technologies and digital transformation within pharmaceutical supply chain and clinical operations environments. Experience working with supply chain, inventory management, forecasting, S&OP, or operational reporting systems would be advantageous. Preferred Qualifications Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
