Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description Duties This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

To support the day to day activities provided within a community-based rehabilitation service.

To support Rehab Service team providing support and interventions to recovering drug users.

Support Team in administration for various services.

To assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of psyco-educational, Holistic, life skills and personal development workshops.

To assist in the Initial and Comprehensive Assessments, and the referral component of the service.

To maintain and update accurate day-to-day records.

To undertake any other administrative duties as required.

Applications will be considered on an individual basis considering the type of work the individual will be undertaking, the extent of the drug and alcohol dependency issues and current recovery status. However, the minimum requirement would be that candidates are in recovery and abstaining from substance use for a period of at least 12 months post treatment episode.
