About the Role Structural Engineer– responsible for designing, supervising and monitoring building projects across sectors such as industrial, residential, commercial, educational, healthcare and civic buildings.

Responsibilities

Design building structures to the Eurocodes using various materials.

Prepare manual calculations and use software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, TEDDS; knowledge of Revit desirable.

Communicate with internal and external parties.

Prepare design drawings and review drawings prepared by others.

Undertake site inspections under BCAR 2014.

Review contractor and design team proposals.

Assist in duties of the PSDP, Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 4 years’ experience in structural engineering.

Third‑level engineering qualification (level 8 or higher).

Required Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Revit.
