NexVentur is seeking to hire a

Project Manager

to join our clients' team in South Dublin, who are a well respected Construction&Build contractor.

This role is pivotal in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of commercial fit-out projects and modular construction works.

Our client is a leading specialist in high‑end fit‑outs and Off‑Site Manufacturing (OSM) modular construction. With a reputation built on quality, innovation, and sustainable partnerships, the company deliver projects across the commercial, life sciences, and digital infrastructure sectors.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of commercial fit‑out and modular projects from inception through to final handover and client sign‑off.

Co‑ordinate onsite construction activities and off‑site modular production to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and sub‑contractors, maintaining Castle Group’s commitment to "Quality and Trust."

Manage project budgets, including procurement, cost control, and variations, ensuring maximum profitability without compromising on safety or quality.

Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing recovery plans where necessary.

Ensure all works comply with BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) and Castle Group’s rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting KPIs, financial status, and risk mitigation strategies.

Skills and Experience

5 - 8+ years of experience in Project Management within the Irish construction industry, specifically focusing on commercial fit‑outs and/or modular construction.

Deep understanding of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Off‑Site Manufacturing (OSM), and high‑spec interior fit‑outs.

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Project Management Professional (PMP/PRINCE2) certification is a plus.

Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Strong skills in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.

A solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure. You should be a self‑starter who aligns with our core values of craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability.

Full knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, Health&Safety legislation, and the BCAR process.
