We’re looking for a technically confident Structural Engineer with 7+ years’ experience who excels in Eurocode-based design, structural analysis and on‑site problem solving to lead design work across major capital frameworks. Purpose&Scope of the Role Join a team delivering some of Ireland’s most important built‑environment projects and play a hands‑on role in shaping safe, resilient and sustainable healthcare, education and critical infrastructure assets. Your impact will be in designing and delivering structural engineering services across a broad range of projects within ourBuildings and Infrastructure business.

Core Capabilities

7+ years’ experience working as a structural engineer on a broad range of developments

Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe

Ability to develop and nurture relationships with colleagues, design team members, clients and contractors

Solid technical and analytical skills with demonstrable problem‑solving abilities

Experience attending sites and carrying out inspections in accordance with BCAR is desirable

Good IT skills and experience with structural analysis packages (such as Master series, Tedd’s, Robot, etc.)

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent time‑management skills

Interest in continuous professional development and learning

Full drivers’ licence desirable and valid work permit to work in Ireland

Qualifications&Experience

Masters or Honours Degree (Level 8+) in Structural Engineering

Aspiration to obtain Chartered status with Engineers Ireland/ IStructE in the near future

Working Environment This role is based in Dublin, Cork, Galway or Kilkenny, with hybrid working and agile office arrangements offered as standard. Office attendance will be balanced to meet project and client needs, while supporting flexible working for work‑life balance. Travel to client sites, planning authority meetings and project locations across Ireland will be required on an occasional basis.
