Reporting directly to the Safety Manager Airworthiness, this role focuses on investigating engineering-related safety occurrences and supporting continuous improvement within the Safety Management System. This rule will deputise Safety Manager Airworthiness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting formal Engineering Investigations on safety occurrences and incidents raised in the reporting system
  • Preparing Investigation Reports and Safety Recommendations
  • Identifying and analysing safety trends arising from reported safety occurrences
  • Preparing periodic engineering safety reports and supporting the Safety Manager Airworthiness in risk assessments
  • Participating in Safety Promotion, utilising lessons learnt from reports and investigations
  • Supporting the administration of the IQSMS safety occurrences reporting system
  • Maintaining competence through continued education and training in the area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in engineering/aviation discipline or EASA Part 66 licence
  • Aviation engineering experience in CAMO and/or P-145 environment
  • Experience in working with reporting systems
  • Experience and knowledge in Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills


Experience:

  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and work independently
  • MS Office experience
