Senior Occupational Therapist

to join their friendly team in Claremorris, Co Mayo. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, bespoke therapy facility that includes a large sensory motor gym, consultation rooms, and dedicated spaces for families and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver family‑centred therapy through assessments and interventions for children and adolescents.

Provide onsite support and supervision for basic grade Occupational Therapists, including remote supervision.

Collaborate within the Occupational Therapy and wider multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery.

Support colleagues with guidance, consultation, and training.

Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and parent/teacher training sessions.

Contribute to service development, CPD opportunities, and occasional workshops for parents and educators.

Ensure therapy rooms and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Qualifications&Experience

Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy, validated for practice in Ireland.

Minimum of 4+ years’ post‑qualification experience in paediatric OT (preferred).

Experience working with children with neurodiverse conditions, autism, sensory processing disorders, and Down syndrome.

ADOS/ADIR training desirable but not essential.

Accredited membership with AOTI and CORU registration (essential).

Garda Vetting clearance and satisfactory references required.

Access to own car for travel purposes.

Strong commitment to paediatric OT and ongoing professional development.
