Senior Quantity Surveyor– Galway eir business talent are currently partnering with a leading Main Contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for major build long term projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor delivering high-value projects across multiple sectors, with a strong pipeline of work across Ireland.

The Role Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will take responsibility for leading the commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to final account. You will play a key role as a Commercial Lead, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and overall commercial performance across all project stages.

Requirements

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role

Strong commercial and contractual knowledgeProven experience operating at Senior QS or Commercial Lead level

Strong knowledge of RIAI, GCC, and bespoke forms of contract

Experience working on medium to large‑scale projects (industrial, commercial, pharma, education)

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

IT literate, with experience in software such as Cubit, CostX, or COINS desirable

Full driving licence
