Production Planner, Galway

Production Planner required for a Galway medtech manufacturing company to manage and control production scheduling.

Responsibilities

Translate confirmed demand into detailed production and subassembly schedules

Release and manage Work Orders in ERP

Prioritise and sequence shopfloor activities to ensure on-time completion

Monitor and control Work-in-Progress (WIP)

Oversee Kanban replenishment systems

Track products at external partners (e.g. sterilization providers)

Ensure production traceability and ERP data accuracy

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in Production Planning and Scheduling

Experience in regulated MedTech or Pharma manufacturing environments

Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and production traceability

ERP/MRP system expertise

Highly structured and detail-oriented mindset

Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills across Manufacturing,

Quality and Logistics
