Information Technology Manager, Galway

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation based in Galway to recruit an experienced

Information Technology Manager

for a key leadership role based in Galway, Ireland.

This position will oversee IT operations across European and North American sites, with a strong focus on ownership and leadership of the IFS ERP environment across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end IFS ERP implementation projects across multiple sites

Act as the regional SME for IFS ERP across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Finance, and HR modules

Drive ERP optimisation, integrations, upgrades, user support, and governance

Manage regional IT operations and service delivery across EU and North America

Support cyber-security, compliance, audit readiness, and IT governance initiatives

Partner with business leaders and global IT teams to deliver strategic technology improvements

Lead and develop regional IT teams and third-party service providers

Knowledge / Experience

10–15 years’ IT experience with strong hands‑on IFS ERP expertise

Strong background in manufacturing environments and ERP integration (MES/WMS/LIMS/BI)

Experience across Azure, Entra ID (AAD), Intune, and Microsoft 365

Knowledge of cyber-security operations and IT governance

Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills

Experience within regulated industries such as medical devices or pharma is highly desirable
