About You
CTA qualified and/or a member of the Irish Taxation Institute
Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple tax heads
Experience managing client relationships within practice
Commercially aware with strong business acumen
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership or team management experience would be advantageous
Comfortable working with owner‑managed businesses and corporate clients
Advisory experience desirable but not essential
Motivated, adaptable, and team‑oriented approach
About Your New Role As Tax Director, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering tax advice, and supporting the ongoing growth of the tax department within the region.

Managing a portfolio of tax clients across a range of sectors
Delivering tax compliance and advisory support
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Working closely with senior leadership and wider teams
Supporting junior team members and reviewing work
Providing commercially focused tax solutions
Often
Advising on restructuring, succession, and tax planning matters
Supporting business development initiatives
Assisting with consultancy assignments and complex client matters
Collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines
Contributing to the growth and development of the tax team
Occasionally
Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
Attending networking and relationship‑building events
Assisting with internal training and mentoring initiatives
Supporting wider strategic projects within the business

Being confined to purely repetitive compliance work
