We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Warehouse&Stores Manager

to lead operations at our Ballyhaunis facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people manager with warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience to join a well-established and growing Irish engineering company.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the stores operation, ensuring high standards across stock management, customer service, team leadership, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the warehouse and stores facility

Lead, support, and develop the stores team

Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management systems

Ensure optimum stock levels are maintained to meet customer and operational requirements

Coordinate goods inward, picking, packing, and outbound deliveries

Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive commercial terms

Liaise with freight and logistics providers on a daily basis

Drive continuous improvement and lean process initiatives

Ensure high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and compliance

Support ISO audits and maintain operational documentation

Deliver excellent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Previous experience managing a warehouse, stores, or logistics operation

Strong leadership and team management skills

Experience with stock control systems and ERP software

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement

Good understanding of health&safety best practices

Experience within industrial, engineering, or technical environments

Knowledge of Lean business processes

Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline

Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems
