Account Manager– Tiling&Flooring Solutions Territory:
West of Ireland– Limerick, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon
Salary:

The Company Our client is a well‑established international manufacturer, operating for over sixty years with a global workforce of over 1,800 employees and group turnover exceeding €450 million. They are recognised as a market leader within the construction finishes sector, supplying a premium portfolio of solutions used on commercial, residential and industrial projects worldwide.
Due to continued growth in Ireland, they are now looking to appoint an Account Manager to cover the West Coast region.
The Role As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing an established customer base, with the majority of your time focused on account development, relationship management and increasing spend within existing customers.
This is a 90% account management role, with a small element of new business where opportunities naturally arise.
You will be selling a premium portfolio of tiling, flooring and construction finishing solutions, including adhesives, grouts, primers, mortars, waterproofing products and industrial flooring systems.
You will work closely with:
Specialist tiling distributors
Builders merchants
Bathroom and interiors retailers
Tiling contractors and installers
Main contractors and specialist subcontractors
Architects and specification contacts
This is a field‑based role covering Munster, so ideally you will be based in Galway or within an easy commute of the territory.
The Person We are keen to speak with candidates who have field sales experience within the construction sector. Ideally, you will have experience selling through distribution or merchant channels, and understand how to manage long‑term relationships across the construction supply chain.
Experience selling into any of the following would be highly advantageous but not essential once you have strong B2B field sales experience:
Builders merchants
Specialist distributors
Tiling retailers
KBB / interiors showrooms
Flooring or finishing products
You will be:
Strong at account management and relationship building
Commercially aware and organised
Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders
Professional, driven and self‑sufficient
Full clean driving licence essential
