Quantity Surveyor, Galway

Access Talent Group are recruiting for an Quantity Surveyor for one of the biggest contractors in Ireland working on exciting large scale projects in Galway. Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor known for delivering a wide range of projects, from infrastructure to environmental works. With a reputation for excellence, innovation, and a commitment to quality, they continue to grow and make a significant impact in the industry.Responsibilities: Prepare and submit cost estimates for civil engineering projects. Conduct cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts.Monitor project expenditures and financial performance. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
