Maintenance Technician, Galway

Maintenance Technician Day Shift Talent Curve are working with a well-established manufacturing client to recruit a Maintenance Technician for a day shift role. This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for someone with strong fault-finding ability and a proactive approach. The Role Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging equipment Respond to breakdowns across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Work closely with production to minimise downtime and support line start-ups and changeovers Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety, hygiene and quality standards (HACCP / GMP) Complete maintenance logs, work orders and routine inspections Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement activities Maintain a clean, organised and audit-ready environment Criteria Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background Experience within manufacturing (food/FMCG desirable) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hygiene-controlled environment Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team This is a confidential vacancy being handled exclusively by Talent Curve Recruitment.
