Responsibilities
  • Operate and assist with high-value production and packaging equipment at the start, middle, or end of the cooked meats production line
  • Support cooked meats processing, slicing, weighing, boxing, and packing operations to meet daily production targets
  • Ensure all products are correctly processed, labelled, boxed, and fully traceable
  • Follow strict food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and factory operating procedures at all times
  • Carry out quality checks including weights, dates, seals, and product presentation
  • Operate machinery safely and responsibly in line with training and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas to factory standards
  • Use packaging materials correctly and follow stock rotation (FIFO) procedures
  • Identify and report equipment issues, product defects, or non-conformances to supervisors immediately
  • Support audits, inspections, and changeovers by following documentation and hygiene controls
Requirements
  • Experience working in a food production or cooked meats factory environment
  • Ability to operate or be trained on high-value production and packing equipment
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Willingness to work across different stages of the production line
