IT Project Manager, Galway

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

Scope and Responsibilities The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of IT project management methodologies, and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.

What You Will Do

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT Infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Coordinate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT, business units, vendors, and external partners, to ensure seamless project execution.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, through regular reports and presentations.

Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, lessons learned, and process enhancements.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.

Experience in IT project management on large enterprise platforms or programs.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Experience with budget management and financial tracking preferred.

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
