Principal IT Recruitment Consultant– Galway HERO Recruitment is hiring a Principal IT Recruitment Consultant to join our award-winning team. We're looking for a seasoned IT recruitment professional with a deep understanding of the Irish technology market and an extensive network of clients and candidates. This person will play a key role in developing new business, account managing key clients, and strategically sourcing and placing top tech talent.This role is based in our Galway office with a hybrid working option. What we’re looking for: A Principal-level IT Recruitment Consultant with a strong track record in the Irish market, including longstanding relationships with both clients and candidates.Someone with extensive experience in 360 recruitment, including talent delivery, new business development, and key account management. Experience placing professionals across areas such as software development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation. A confident business developer who can generate new opportunities, engage HR, hiring managers, and consult strategically to offer tailored recruitment solutions.A relationship builder who thrives in senior-level IT recruitment and understands the unique hiring dynamics within Ireland’s tech ecosystem. Strong commercial instincts and a history of consistently exceeding targets in a performance-driven environment. Experience onboarding new clients and building long-term partnerships in the tech industry.Someone who enjoys working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Tech-savvy and creative in candidate sourcing, using a combination of digital tools, referrals, and market mapping.
