Sales Executive– Building Materials / Construction Sector (Galway) Are you a driven sales professional with experience in the

construction or building materials industry ?

We’re currently seeking a

Sales Executive

to join our growing team and take ownership of a defined territory, developing strong relationships across the

builders’ merchant, contractor, and trade network .

This is a field-based, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers face‑to‑face, and turning opportunities into long‑term business partnerships.

Developing new business across builders’ merchants, contractors, and trade customers

Managing and growing an established customer base within your territory

Conducting regular site, branch, and customer visits

Promoting and selling a range of building materials products

Identifying opportunities to convert specifications into sales

Generating leads through proactive outreach, cold calling, and follow‑ups

Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs

Working closely with internal teams including operations, customer service, and marketing

Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and product developments

What We’re Looking For

Experience in

building materials, construction, or B2B field sales

Strong understanding of the

builders’ merchant and contractor landscape

Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills

Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and commercially aware

Strong relationship builder with a customer‑first mindset

Organised with excellent territory and time management skills

Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools

Resilient, persistent, and motivated by results
