The Role This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled individual who is passionate about dairy farming and capable of leading a team to achieve high-performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of a large-scale dairy farm

Oversee herd performance, health, and overall welfare

Supervise and coordinate farm staff, ensuring efficient workflow

Lead and motivate a small, diverse team to meet farm targets and KPIs

Manage milking routines and parlour operations

Implement effective grassland management and grazing strategies

Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, loaders, diet feeders, and toppers

Ensure best practices in animal husbandry and farm safety

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in dairy farming, ideally in a management role

Strong knowledge of herd management, grassland management, and parlour systems

Proven leadership and team management skills

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

Full Irish driving licence

Experience operating a range of agricultural machinery
