Senior Accountant - SME Advisory, Kilkenny

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing SME Advisory team within a well-established professional services firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practice accountant looking to take on a client-facing role with strong exposure to advisory work, portfolio management, and career progression.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and specialist teams, supporting SME clients across a range of sectors by providing high-quality accounting, tax, and business advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

Reviewing financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

Managing a portfolio of SME clients and acting as a trusted advisor

Supporting clients with accounting and business-related matters

Working closely with Partners and senior management teams

Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice

Candidate Profile

ACA or ACCA qualified

Minimum 3 years’ experience within a public practice/accountancy firm environment

Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Strong organisational and time management abilities

Commercially aware with a client-focused approach

Motivated to continue developing professionally
