About The Role The Global Technology&Operating Office is seeking a curious and motivated Associate Privacy Analyst to work across Global Technology teams, business units, and control functions to help understand and manage technology‑driven privacy risks. Reporting to the Global Technology Privacy Officer within IT Operational Risk (ITOR) team, this role offers hands‑on training and exposure to how privacy is embedded across a large, complex technology environment while supporting the ongoing evolution of the Global Technology Privacy Program.
This role is ideal for someone who is excited to learn and eager to explore a wide range of technologies, including cloud platforms, data products, and emerging AI‑enabled solutions. You will help review how technology is designed and operated, ask thoughtful questions, and apply critical thinking to understand how privacy requirements and regulations translate into real‑world systems and processes. An interest in technology, artificial intelligence, andprivacy regulations, along with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset, will enable you to grow quickly while contributing meaningfully to privacy‑by‑design outcomes across the organization.
What You Can Expect
Learn how privacy works in real technology environments by supporting Global Technology teams as they design, build, and operate systems in line with the company’s Privacy Program and applicable privacy regulations.
Get hands‑on exposure to a wide range of technologies, helping review how privacy requirements apply across cloud platforms, data products, AI‑enabled solutions, and enterprise systems.
Support privacy activities, promoting Privacy by Design and assisting with automation‑first approaches that embed privacy controls into technology implementations.
Be part of agile delivery teams, contributing privacy input during design and development phases, and helping teams think through data minimization, appropriate data use, and secure data handling.
Collaborate with diverse, cross‑functional partners including Architecture, Security, Governance, Product, and Data Science teams to support privacy‑enhancing and privacy‑preserving solutions such as anonymization and de‑identification.
Build foundational privacy and risk management skills by supporting Privacy Impact Assessments, maintaining privacy inventories and data mappings, assisting with incident response activities, and contributing to reporting and awareness efforts.
Continuously grow your knowledge through ongoing learning in technology, privacy regulations, artificial intelligence, and information security, with mentorship and support from experienced privacy and risk professionals.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Security, Data Governance, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline.
A genuine interest in technology, AI, and privacy regulations, and curiosity about how emerging technologies create new risks and opportunities.
Foundational understanding of, or strong interest in learning, privacy controls and data protection principles.
General technical awareness of IT environments, with exposure or interest in areas such as Cloud, Cyber Security, Technology Infrastructure, and Privacy.
Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to ask good questions, connect concepts, and document findings clearly.
A proactive learning mindset, with the ability to pick up new skills and concepts quickly.
Must‑Haves
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Self‑starter with curiosity and adaptability, able to take ownership, explore topics proactively, and work well within our team.
An interest in researching and applying privacy concepts pragmatically, including automation‑first and efficiency‑driven approaches, with guidance from senior team members.
