Job: General Practitioner, Ireland, Limerick

Salary: 100,000 EUR - 130,000 EUR p/a

Location: Limerick

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced salaried GP to join their friendly and well-supported practice in Limerick. As an established practice with a long-term commitment to providing the highest standards of community-based family care, an excellent opportunity is available for an enthusiastic GP to join their team, as a result of their continued growth and expansion.

The successful GP will be required to work 4-5 days in the practice, covering 8-10 clinical sessions

The GP Practice operates the following:

Mix of GMS and Private patients
Practice Manager
Regular clinical meetings
Socrates practice management system
Full supporting admin and reception team
6 GPs

Duties & Responsibilities

No out of hours required!
Full participation in the provision of medical services to the practices clientele during surgery hours.
Participate in the provision of repeat prescriptions
Attend to house calls when required.
Provision of reports as required by Insurance Companies or Solicitors
Issuing of Medical Certificates when requested.
Maintaining medical records in a professional manner.
Maintaining Practice documentation as per Practice Protocols.
You are required to keep abreast of professional improvements in the role of GPs and in your fields of speciality

In addition to the above, the post-holder will strive to maintain quality within the Practice, whilst supporting the equality, diversity and rights of Patients, Carers and Colleagues.

Essential criteria

Must hold, or be eligible to hold full registration with Irish Medical Council on the Specialist register
Up to date mandatory training

Salary & Benefits
