Deputy General Manager - Contemporary Hotel - RELOCATE TO IRELAND!
Client overview&Role: This is a role, where our client engages with you; gives you practical training, development and progression within a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, knowing that promotion will not be too far away if you want a fun and exciting career in hospitality. Role: Deputy General Manager Progression: To become a General Manager within 18-24 months Key responsibilities: Work with the General Manager and Senior management team of the hotel to implement all board and Group policies, strategies and plans and contribute to the development of these plans.Control&plan performance against targets by regular and frequent use of the Hotel Property Management Information System and by personal monitoring of individual department performances. To control and monitor all hotel operations through a team of managers to deliver exceptional standards to our customers.To ensure customer satisfaction by having managers establish and maintain quality control standards for products&services offered to the customers. To personally monitor customer satisfaction by observation, regular reporting from managers and regular contact with major accounts, actual or potential as well as through the company benchmarking process. The ideal candidate for this position: Will be proactive with a commercial approach to the business who can drive the sales and marketing strategy and demonstrate a track record of success.Will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a F&B Manager / Operations Manager / Front Office Manager / Deputy General Manager in the 3/4 star hotel sector with more than 100 rooms. Will be an excellent motivator and leader of people. Will have the desire and potential to be a General Manager within 12 / 18 months. Will be willing to relocate for a General Manager role.Be a self starter who has the capacity to operate with little supervision. Have a proven ability to offer and implement independent solutions to various issues as they arise.
