Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and process systems
Develop, review, and approve technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications in line with project requirements
Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation
Conduct system walkdowns and inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards
Support project teams in troubleshooting mechanical and process issues during construction and commissioning phases
Liaise with clients, project managers, and site teams to ensure technical requirements are met
Oversee testing and validation of process and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise systems and processes
Maintain accurate records, reports, and as-built documentation
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies throughout project delivery
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 35 years experience in a mechanical/process engineering role within construction, pharma, data centre, or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of piping, utilities, and mechanical systems design and installation standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation
Familiarity with commissioning, validation, and handover processes
Proficiency in engineering software and digital documentation tools
Safe Pass and relevant site safety training/certifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering cost-effective engineering solutions
