Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description Duties This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

The position will be in The Child and Family Centre, Roxboro Road, Galvone, Limerick. The aim of this programme is to provide you with the opportunity of acquiring knowledge in the area of childcare whilst gaining experience working in a childcare setting. Duties include:

Supervision of children indoors, outdoors and in sleep rooms.

The ability to record daily information relating to children.

The physical care of children.

Preparation and delivery of activities.

Provide responsive care of children.

You will achieve a Level 5 QQI (FETAC) Childcare qualification which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare.
