Sr Tax Accountant, Limerick

Responsibilities

Leading tax process improvements by developing system automations to streamline processes

Preparation of the US GAAP quarterly tax provision for European entities and preparing supporting schedules for US reporting purposes

Supporting international tax matters including transfer pricing and Pillar Two

Identifying and executing withholding tax planning opportunities to minimise cash tax leakage and reduce effective tax costs

Coordinating and directing outsource providers to complete the tax returns for European subsidiaries

Leading the preparation of documentation for Irish Research&Development Claims

Leading VAT, Intrastat, VIES and other tax‑related filings

Performing other duties as assigned

Understanding and adhering to all corporate policies, including but not limited to ACI code of ethics and global information security

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent

Full or part accounting/tax qualification with a desire to complete the same

3+ years experience in an accounting or tax environment

Proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

ERP systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion)

Tax systems (e.g. Alphatax, Onesource tax provision)

Demonstrated curiosity and openness to leveraging AI tools, automation, or emerging technologies to improve how tax work is done
