Description
Role / Department Limerick’s Custody Client Service team serves over 650 clients. The department works closely with internal teams to source information and provide prompt, quality responses to client queries.

Based in Limerick, the successful candidate will be a dedicated point of contact for onboarding new business for clients and third‑party investment managers. The role involves owning the client implementation process within New Business, ensuring all key milestones are achieved within a dynamic team environment.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role

Implement custody onboarding for new business.

Attend to all aspects of onboarding service delivery.

Manage client interaction, documentation issuance, review and system set‑ups.

Understand client requirements and implement them correctly.

Deliver timely and accurate account opening functions, providing superior client service and resolving client issues.

Serve as exclusive point of contact for all custody‑related issues and testing prior to fund launches/transitions, including administration, fee billing, product guidance, system access and reporting tools.

Promote and guide instruction types offered by Northern Trust.

Coordinate and participate in demo training for NT portals where applicable.

Track onboarding service against project plans.

Structure daily tasks and checklists to be completed and signed off.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with critical business partners, internal clients and relevant third parties such as operational teams, trustees, external advisors and consultants.

Initiate frequent, proactive communication with internal and external clients.

Manage overall service to client(s) with a goal of delivering proactive, unparalleled client service.

Promote the highest standards of integrity, accountability and client service across GFS EMEA and the global GFS business.

Skills / Qualifications

Proven experience within Fund Services, preferably Custody.

Technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products and instruments.

Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Strong leadership skills and ability to advocate for the company.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to persuade and influence change or best practice.

Ability to communicate with partners and clients at all levels.

Ability to create and foster an inclusive environment within the team.

Ability to learn and share client strategy, infrastructure, products and key personnel across the organisation.

Proven ability to improve service delivery, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
