Social Care Worker– Separated Children Seeking International Protection Contract: Full-time Permanent Position

Typical schedule: 12-hour shift patterns– days and waking nights.

Salary:€18.38 per hour Monday-Sunday plus €2 per hour for nightshifts DOE

Location: Louth Tullyallen

Residential service, supporting children who are seeking international protection who have been separated from their families.

6 x residents in each house. Age group: 12– 18 years

21 days annual leave, 23 after 2 years, 25 after 3 years

Health insurance to the value of€1,500 – after 12 months

Income protection of 75% basic salary

Death in Service benefits 4x times annual salary.

Requirements:

Level 7 or 8 in applied Social Studies or Similar field

Car and full Licence

Full Flexibility to work a residential roster

Experience in caring for young persons

Experience of report writing and support plans
