Job Description United Metal Recycling (Ireland) Limited, a division of UMR Group, is seeking Welders to join its facility in Co. Limerick. The role requires an immediate start.

Qualifications

1‑3 years of welding experience.

Welding certification preferred but not essential.

No minimum academic requirements.

Ability to MIG weld, perform fillet welds, and read drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Operate welding equipment to join metalwork pieces together.

Use fusion welding processes based on various techniques and materials.

Perform visual inspection of welds.

Perform fillet welds, MIG welding and read drawings.

Wear appropriate protective gear and adhere to safety standards.

Smooth burr surfaces and recognise metal imperfections.

Apply arc welding techniques and precision metalworking techniques.

Maintain correct metal temperature and handle fuels.

Recognise signs of corrosion and remove inadequately welded parts.

Perform metal active gas welding and inert gas welding.

Benefits&Pay Annual remuneration:€36,605.00; hourly rate €18.05. Number of hours per week: 39.
