Role/ Department The Custody Client Service team in Limerick serves over 650 clients and provides prompt, quality responses to client queries. This role is a primary point of contact for onboarding new business for clients and third‑party investment managers, owning the client implementation process within New Business.
The Key Responsibilities Of The Role
Implement custody onboarding for new business.
Attend to all aspects of onboarding service delivery.
Manage client interaction, issuance of documentation, review, and system set‑ups.
Understand client requirements and implement them correctly.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of account opening functions and superior client service.
Act as the exclusive contact for all custody‑related issues and testing prior to fund launches/transitions.
Promote and guide instruction types offered by Northern Trust.
Co‑coordinate and participate in demo training for NT portals when applicable.
Track onboarding service against project plans.
Structure daily tasks and checklists for completion and sign‑off.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with critical business partners, internal clients, and third parties.
Initiate frequent, proactive communication with internal and external clients.
Manage overall service to clients, delivering proactive, unparalleled service.
Promote the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and client service across GFS EMEA and the global GFS business.
Skills/Qualifications
Proven experience within Fund Services (preferably Custody).
Technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products, and instruments.
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Strong leadership skills and advocacy for the company.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to persuade and influence change or best practice.
Ability to communicate with partners and clients at all levels.
Ability to create and foster an inclusive environment within the overall team.
Ability to learn and share client strategy, infrastructure, products, and key personnel across the organization.
Proven ability to improve service delivery, efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
