About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global organisation within the medical technology sector, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative electro-mechanical products that directly impact healthcare delivery worldwide.

You will play a key role in the design and development of complex medical devices, contributing across the full product lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards for electro-mechanical productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and quality engineeringSupport project planning, timelines, and budget coordinationEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC, FDA)Conduct testing related to EMI, safety, and manufacturabilityPerform root cause analysis on product or component failures and document findingsDevelop technical documentation including specifications, test protocols, and reportsParticipate in design reviews to ensure robustness, reliability, and safetyProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics engineering or a similar roleStrong background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit designExperience in product development within a regulated industry is highly desirable (medical devices preferred)Knowledge of EMC testing and requirements documentation is an advantageStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
