Radisson Blu Hotel&Spa, Limerick invite applicants to join our award winning Spa team as a Fitness&Spa Receptionist and contribute to playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our valued guests while creating a welcoming and relaxing experience in our Spa&Leisure centre.
Being the first point of contact for guests, this role will involve managing appointments, handling guest inquiries, and providing excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of the Spa and Leisure facilities.
Main Duties
Offer exceptional Standards of Service to customers at all times
Meet&Greet customers on arrival in a polite, warm and professional manner
Handle enquiries for the Spa/Leisure Centre and confidently convert to bookings and memberships
Manage the day to day booking system efficiently, ensuring all information for bookings is recorded correctly
Schedule spa services for guests and monitor availability of treatments and staff to ensure prompt service
Display a complete knowledge of the treatments and services offered, and any promotions that may be on offer at the time
Be responsible for billing procedures at the reception desk and the correct reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift and at the end of the day's work
Complete daily opening procedures and check lists per relevant area daily
Ensure that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance are implemented and adhered to
Assist with administration duties such as purchasing, receiving and inventory reporting
Instruct members and customers on the safe&effective use of the Gym Equipment
Perform cleaning tasks as and when required to ensure excellent standards of hygiene are maintained at all times and also complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and keep records up to date
Work along side our Spa Attendants to ensure the Spa is clean and towels etc. are regularly topped up
Complete chemical checks for the Pool&Jacuzzi when required as per the schedule– checks to include bacteria / PH checks, complete Pool testing as and when required
Complete regular daily checks on the Steam Room and Sauna as per the requirements
Complete thorough walk throughs of the facilities during shift, ensuring standards are being maintained and cleaning completed as per the schedule
Maintain a Safe operating environment at all times for customers by completing the necessary H&S checks and reporting any issues to the line Manager
Take a proactive approach to generating new business for the club including generating new leads, completing sales calls, completing tours of the club to all potential customers and selling members
Take a proactive approach to member retention for the club by completing the Member CRM process as outlined by the Leisure Centre Manager
Take a proactive approach to generating revenue by upselling products and service to all customers
Order amenities and necessary supplies for the facility as required
Requirements And Skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in computer systems and front-desk software (Trybe is desirable)
Flexibility for weekend, morning, or evening shifts
Experience in a leisure, hospitality, or receptionist role is highly valued
Qualifications in Lifeguard duties, First Aid and as a Fitness Instructor are all highly advantageous
