Responsibilities The Senior Analyst within Investor AML will be responsible for the completion of the workload, with guidance from colleagues and line management, to support AML compliance services aligned to:

AML Legislation/Regulation&Guidance/Best Practice.

Ireland&UK Investor AML processes and procedures.

Maintaining a strong relationship with the Northern Trust Investor AML Department in Ireland to deliver a robust AML Compliance service to Northern Trust’s client and investor base.

Additional responsibilities include:

Timely and accurate completion of workload, including transaction monitoring and screening alerts; periodic investor documentation reviews; and investor transitions into and out of Northern Trust.

Participating in the review of investor documentation and information pursuant to trigger events or periodic reviews, in adherence with Northern Trust’s AML processes and procedures.

Working with colleagues and line management to review investor documentation and efficiently highlight due‑diligence documentation requiring updates, due to inadequacy or aging, to the Investor AML Department in Ireland.

Escalating more complex problems and critical issues to line manager, including those received from other Northern Trust partners.

Ensuring that all queries from other Northern Trust partners are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Providing support services for Ireland&UK Investor AML processes and procedures in conjunction with Northern Trust colleagues in Ireland, and providing regular, meaningful, accurate periodic updates to line manager and colleagues in Bangalore, Pune and Ireland.

Maintaining strong working relationships with partners in the Northern Trust Investor AML Department in Ireland.

Ensuring that the Investor AML support teams in Bangalore and Pune meet the required audit, risk and compliance standards as determined by changes in processes and procedures pursuant to amendments in prevailing legislation, guidance and best practice.

Keeping up‑to‑date knowledge of Investor AML good practice and using this knowledge to promote enhancements to Northern Trust’s AML processes and procedures.

Performing additional work where volume or absence requires such workload to be completed.

Complying with the global AML regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the role.

Exercising due care and diligence, ensuring responsibilities of the role are organised and controlled within the ambit of regulation, compliance and risk management.

Observing proper standards of market, business and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity in the execution of duties.

Required Skills&Experience

Knowledge of day‑to‑day Investor AML processes and procedures and the wider funds administration business.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Effective risk management.

Demonstrated ability to research and understand issues and deliver solutions agreed with line management.

Knowledge of the global Investor AML regulatory environment.

General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications relating to designated areas of responsibility.

Ability to understand and implement principles of quality delivery.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Proven ability to work under pressure and unsupervised.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
