Responsibilities

• Review and analyse construction plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Compile and review material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and scope.
• Conduct site visits and gather information to inform accurate estimating.
• Obtain and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and present estimates and proposals to clients and internal teams.
• Monitor and update estimates as project scopes and costs change.
• Maintain a database of historical costs and supplier quotations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costs.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
