Chef, Limerick

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Relief Chefs to join our team, working across a range of client sites throughout Limerick City and County. These positions are mainly within contract catering and food service environments, offering predominantly Monday to Friday daytime hours – ideal for maintaining a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals to a consistently high standard Ensure full compliance with HACCP procedures and food safety regulations Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Work effectively as part of a professional kitchen team Support stock management, ordering, and waste reduction Deliver excellent food quality, presentation, and service at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards Ability to adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and client needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work across various client locations Own transport is an advantage
