Senior Occupational Therapist - Children's Disability Services Location: Mid-West Region Salary:€64,551 - €76,007 (pro-rata) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Overview A well-established disability service provider is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Children's Disability Network Team. The service supports children (0-18 years) with complex needs, including intellectual disability and autism, working within a family-centred, interdisciplinary model. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention to children and families Manage a caseload effectively, including prioritisation and waiting lists Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support holistic care planning Contribute to Individual Family Service Plans Supervise junior staff and students Support service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance Liaise with families, schools, and external agencies Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere torelevant policies and standards Requirements CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience Experience working with disability services (paediatrics or adults) Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention Experience working within a multidisciplinary team Previous supervision experience desirable Full driver's licence and access to a car Key Competencies Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care Good organisational and decision-making ability Flexible and proactive approach to service delivery Skills: Occupational therapsit OT Paediatrics Childrens Services Benefits: + BenefitsTPBN1_IJ
