We are seeking a Training Lead to support a large-scale organisation-wide rollout of a new CRM/ERP system. This role will play an important part in helping employees adopt new tools and ways of working successfully. The role is;
Full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Based at our Dunboyne Head Office
This role will coordinate all aspects of training delivery, from content development and facilitation to logistics management, to ensure employees are prepared, confident, and able to adopt new systems and processes. The role reports to the Change Manager, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Project Konnect Project Manager. The Training Lead will play a key role across the CRM/ERP programme and the Dayforce rollout by working closely with Key Users and Super Users across multiple business units. The role will ensure training activities are aligned with redesigned business processes, support user readiness, and drive engagement to enable smooth transitions to new platforms. In doing so, the Training Lead will help ensure a consistent, high-quality training experience across all solution upgrade projects.

This role will contribute to the achievement of these requirements by identifying the training requirements and appropriate methods of delivery whilst incorporating these as part of the employee lifecycle.
Training Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan aligned with the overall change management and adoption strategy for the CRM/ERP rollout and HR & Payroll HCM implementation.
- Identify role-based and process-led training needs through workshops, stakeholder engagement, and structured needs analysis.
- Design a training curriculum aligned with project milestones, incorporating approaches such as role-based, process-driven, and just-in-time learning.
- Ensure the training plan is agreed, documented, and fully integrated into the wider programme schedule, whilst aligned to core HR values.
Content Development
- Create, curate, and maintain training materials including presentations, user manuals, quick reference guides, e-learning modules, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all materials accurately reflect the configured CRM and ERP system processes, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and are tailored to specific user roles and departments.
- Maintain training content so it evolves in line with system changes, business process updates, and lessons learned during delivery.
Training Delivery
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for end users, Key Users, and Super Users across multiple business units.
- Deliver training using a blended approach, including instructor-led workshops, virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams, hands-on system labs, and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Manage all training logistics, including scheduling sessions, booking venues or virtual meetings, preparing training environments, and issuing communications and invitations to participants.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Process Owners, department heads, subject matter experts, and the project team to ensure training content reflects agreed business processes and system design.
- Incorporate real-life business scenarios into training to improve relevance and application.
- Support the identification of Change Champions or Super Users within each area to reinforce learning and support adoption before and after go-live.
- Engage and support the network of Key Users and Super Users across the organisation.
- Ensure these users are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and materials required to mentor their teams, deliver local training, and provide first-line support.
- Strengthen ownership within the Key User community to drive engagement, reinforce learning, and support sustained adoption.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
- Collaborate with the project team and Key Users to support User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Organise and deliver targeted training for UAT participants so they understand system functionality and testing expectations.
- Assist with coordinating UAT schedules, communicating test scenarios, and ensuring feedback from testing is reflected in updated training materials and guidance.
Performance Tracking and Continuous Improvement
- Implement methods to assess training effectiveness, including attendance tracking, feedback surveys, knowledge checks, and competency assessments.
- Use training data and feedback to assess user readiness and identify adoption risks or capability gaps.
- Continuously refine training materials and delivery approaches based on feedback and learning outcomes.
Communication and Change Integration
- Coordinate with the Change Manager and Change Champions to ensure training activities are aligned with the wider change and engagement plan.
- Support clear and timely communication of training schedules, learning resources, and support channels.
- Reinforce key change messages through training and contribute to building understanding, commitment, and confidence in the new CRM/ERP systems.
Post-Go-Live Support
- Support the design and delivery of post-go-live hyper care activities, including floor-walking support, drop-in clinics, Q&A sessions, and refresher training.
- Provide targeted follow-up support where adoption challenges or capability gaps are identified.
- Be responsible for user adoption and the reduction in manual processes/shadow processes.
- Ensure Key Users and Super Users remain engaged as ongoing sources of support and knowledge within their departments.
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor and report on training progress, user readiness, and training effectiveness to project leadership and the Change Manager.
- Provide regular status updates (dotted line) to the Konnect Project Manager on training plans, delivery progress, dependencies, and risks across the CRM/ERP and Dayforce workstreams.
- Provide regular updates on delivery status, risks, and adoption-related issues.
- Propose and implement mitigation actions, such as additional sessions or revised materials, to ensure training supports programme milestones and adoption objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Industry background is a distinct advantage but not essential, with a minimum of three years' experience delivering training, with a background in training coordination, learning and development, and/or project coordination.
- Hands-on involvement in at least one major software implementation or digital transformation programme; CRM or ERP rollout experience is highly desirable.
- A third-level qualification recognised on the national framework, ideally at Level 7/8 or its equivalent in Human Resources (CIPD recognised), Training and Development (IITD recognised), Change Management, or Project Management.
- Hold a higher Certificate in Train the Trainer - QQI Level 6, Prosci, PRINCE2, or PMP.
- Strong understanding of CRM and ERP systems and the business processes they support.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex training schedules and logistics across multiple stakeholders and locations.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with experience working in cross-functional or matrix environments.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications for training development.
- Experience delivering virtual training using Microsoft Teams.
- Proficient with SharePoint, learning management systems, and/or e-learning tools.
Communication & Facilitation Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, non-technical language.
- Proven experience delivering engaging training sessions to users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
