PhD Graduate
or
experienced Scientist
to join a
Medical Devices Leader
in
Ireland . The ideal candidate will have a
PhD or have submitted their thesis for a PhD
and have experience with
ELISA's, Western Blotting or Laboratory Diagnostics . The key requirement is to be a
critical thinker
and apply this knowledge in the
development of new medical device products for the lab .
Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request):
Responsibilities
Project Management: Manage product and process improvements independently.
Improvements: Monitor processes, address trends, and implement solutions.
Risk Management: Maintain and evaluate risk management files.
Investigations: Lead investigations, resolve issues, and support audits.
Technical Support: Design experiments, analyse data, and recommend actions.
Knowledge Sharing: Present findings and mentor team members.
Results Focus: Ensure product availability and drive cost-effective improvements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
Relevant third-level qualification in a scientific/technical field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years’ related experience or advanced degree preferred (PhD).
Works independently as an individual contributor.
Requires specialised knowledge of product/process design, standardisation, and control methods.
Skilled in experimental, statistical, and project management tools.
Resolves varied but recurring issues.
Innovative thinker guided by established practices.
