Insurance Broker - Personal&Commercial Lines, Longford

My client is a well-established Insurance Brokerage based in Co. Longford, providing tailored insurance solutions to both personal and commercial clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Insurance Broker to join our team. This opportunity would suit either: ? An experienced, CIP Qualified Insurance Professional or ? A motivated trainee looking to build a long-term career in the insurance industry while working towards their CIP qualification. For trainees, the role can offer flexibility such as a 4-day working week with 1 dedicated study day to support professional development. ?? Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance clients Advising clients on suitable insurance products and coverage options Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, admin and new business quotations Developing and maintaining strong client relationships Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and premiums Ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to Providing excellent customer service and claims support where required Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and business development Requirements For Experienced Candidates: CIP Qualified (or working towards completion) Previous experience within an insurance brokerage environment Strong knowledge of personal and/or commercial lines insurance Excellent communication and relationship management skills For Trainee Candidates: Strong interest in pursuing a career in insurance Willingness to study towards the CIP qualification Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills Organised, motivated, and eager to learn Salary will commensurate with experience.
