Overview The External Relations Office is seeking a Website Assistant to join the Digital Team to support their work in maintaining and updating the University’s external‑facing website. This role involves creating and publishing web content, campaign landing pages, and providing excellent support to our community of web editors.
Responsibilities
Creating and publishing engaging and accessible content on large internal and external websites.
Assisting a large distributed group of users and stakeholders with technical and content issues.
Providing training sessions for new web editors.
Supporting fast‑paced work within a busy team.
Qualifications
Professional experience in creating and publishing web content on large websites.
Strong communication, user support, administration, and time management skills.
Ability to simplify complex ideas and problems into clear explanations.
Broader interest in web technologies and aptitude for learning new skills and systems.
Reporting The Website Assistant will report to the Technical Marketing Officer in the Digital Team and work collegially with the External Relations Office, Marketing Team, and colleagues across the University.
Salary Executive Assistant (2026):€32,530 – €48,930 p.a. (13 points). Appointments will be made in accordance with public‑sector pay provisions.
Closing Date Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, 3rd of June 2026 23:30 hrs (local Irish time). Late applications will not be accepted.
