We are currently recruiting a Stores & Cellar Controller to join our Food & Beverage Team at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and record goods deliveries received from goods in.
- Keep mains beverage and dry store organised, clean and secure.
- Adhering to all cost control procedures (where applicable create new procedures)
- Ensuring compliance with documentation/authorisation processes.
- Receiving stock from goods in and booking in stock received on the transfer app.
- Monitoring inventories of F&B to increase inventory turnover.
- Participating in month end reporting procedures in relation to F&B stock and other tasks.
- Assist external stock taker and answer stock count queries.
- Carrying out internal stock takes when neccessary.
- Receive orders forms bars and food outlets for stock, fulfill order requests and fill in transfer requisition forms.
- Ensuring bars have their agreed par stocks.
- Facilitate collection of orders from all departments.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in Hotels is essential.
- Previous experience in income audit or accounts payable desirable.
- Understanding basic accounting functions- goods inward.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Previous procure wizard experience desirable and training will be provided.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Someone with hands on, outgoing, pro-active approach.
- Take personal responsibility and initiative to prevent or resolve problems.
- A balance between a methodical and process- driven approach and flexibility.
- Hard working and strong attention to detail.
