35 hours per week We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Monaghan CDNT on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will work with children with disabilities, providing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to support their communication and swallowing needs.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children with disabilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each child. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive care.Engage with families and caregivers, providing education and support to facilitate therapy carryover in home environments. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Participate in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and service planning.Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy from an accredited institution. Registration with CORU Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following:

EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam. Willing to undergo Garda Vetting. International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
